About Me

Welcome to my website. My name is Llio Millward.

I hold a graduate certificate in Psychosynthesis Foundations and a postgraduate diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from The Psychosynthesis Education Trust and The University of East London.

The Psychosynthesis Education Trust is a training centre whose counselling training is recognised and accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. (see FAQ)

I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework and guidelines for professional practice. In accordance with BACP guidelines I am fully insured and clinically supervised by an accredited BACP supervisor.

In addition to my formal training in psychology, my approach is informed by such therapists, teachers and philosophers as Thomas Moore, James Hillman, Irving Yalom, M Scott Peck, Eckhart Tolle and Marianne Williamson.

Previous to my therapeutic and clinical training, my background was in the creative arts.
I worked extensively in TV, film and theatre both as a performer and theatre producer. I am always delighted to work with people in the creative arts, based on my first- hand knowledge of the joys and challenges they face, and their unique lifestyle.
